2026 will mark a significant milestone: Armitec’s 30th anniversary.
Thirty years of industrial adventures, challenges met, successful projects, and—above all—the men and women who have helped the company grow.
It is an opportunity to highlight the journey we have taken and our expertise, to recognize the dedication of our teams, and to look collectively toward the future with the same energy and ambition.
Back to 2024
In 2024, Armitec continued its growth with the inauguration of a new facility in Chinon, designed to house its nuclear-sector operations. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its position in markets characterized by high technical complexity and strict regulatory requirements.
The Chinon site is specifically equipped to meet the safety and precision standards essential to the nuclear industry. There, Armitec carries out boiler-making, welded assembly, and the machining of critical components for power plants and highly regulated industrial facilities.
Its nuclear operations rely on unique expertise and mastery of certified processes, ensuring compliance with CEFRI standards and the specific requirements of clients in the sector.
The company produces specialized test specimens for its client EDF, utilizing ultra-high-precision machining equipment and advanced metrology.
To meet growing demand, the site is set to be expanded starting in 2025.
In 2026, Armitec is incorporating CRP capabilities—focusing on the prevention and management of risks associated with ionizing radiation in the nuclear sector—into its operations.
