Helping second-year students discover the industry differently
This week, ARMITEC had the pleasure of participating, alongside Neopolia, in an initiative intended for second-year general students as part of their discovery of the professional world.
The objective? Allow them to explore the diversity of professions in the industry by discovering several companies, several environments and, above all, several professional career paths.
Within ARMITEC, our teams were keen to share their educational and professional background, their daily lives, their passion and their know-how. In small groups, the students were able to discover the professions of machinist, boilermaker, maintenance technician, BE project manager and business manager. They were also made aware of the support functions essential to the success of the projects.
Beyond the presentation of our activities, this day was above all an opportunity to discuss, answer questions, deconstruct certain preconceived ideas and show the reality of a modern, innovative industry offering concrete career opportunities.
We are convinced that these meetings are essential to open up the field of possibilities, encourage vocations and allow young people to better understand the many perspectives that our sector offers.
In a context where industrial professions face major recruitment challenges, it is more necessary than ever to create bridges between school and business, and to promote the women and men who bring our industries to life on a daily basis.
A big thank you to our employees for their availability and enthusiasm, as well as to Neopolia for organizing this great initiative to promote the discovery of industrial professions.
